Chef Nuit Regular and her husband Jeff are celebrated for bringing the distinct flavours of Northern Thai cuisine and hospitality to Toronto and across Canada. The popularity of their restaurants (PAI Northern Thai Kitchen, Kiin, SukhoThai) all began with the opening of the humble Curry Shack in the small town of Pai, in Northern Thailand.

Having learned to cook in her mother’s kitchen, Chef Nuit made the decision to leave her career as a nurse in Thailand so that she could share her passion, culture, and life experiences through family recipes, street market dishes, and creative collaborations.

Toronto has been hungry for her talent and ever since she was named the Nine of Dine winner at the Gourmet Food and Wine Expo in 2009, Chef Nuit can be found regularly featured as one of the most influential chefs in Toronto. In acknowledgment of the authenticity of her Thai cooking, the government of Thailand awarded both PAI Northern Thai Kitchen and Kiin the prestigious Thai SELECT Premium designation.

She was awarded a WX Network Top 100 Powerful Women in Canada's BMO Entrepreneur Award in 2022, and is the recipient of the 2022 American Express Award for Business Leadership. Broadening her reach across Canada, Chef Nuit has consulted for restaurants across the country and is a resident judge on Food Network Canada's Wall of Chefs. Her debut cookbook, Kiin: Recipes and Stories from Northern Thailand, won a 2021 IACP Cookbook Award and a Taste Canada Gold Award.
